Information: Containers are a great way to add interest and variety to your landscaping.
Participants will learn the development, care and maintenance of container gardening.
Discussions will include types of container gardens, ideas for planters and plantings,
and how to utilize containers within your landscape. Participants will create and take
home their own planter with part shade oriented plants. (Plants, container and supplies
will be provided). Please bring gloves and a planting trowel.

This is a pre-school class that will guide children through math,
science and literature activities based on our weekly themes. We
will also work on calendar, weather, letter, color, number and name
recognition, as appropriate to each age group. The class fosters
creativity and imagination through arts and games. The class will
take place in our second floor pre-school room.

Learn the basics and beyond of crocheting. You will learn how to
chain, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and the
rolled stitch, which is used in Irish crocheting. If time permits we will learn how to
crochet with beads. I will have many examples of crocheted jewelry and
other free-form, one-of-a-kind creations to inspire you to start crocheting.

This workshop will teach you the fundamentals of paper cutting.
Participants will experiment with scissors and x-acto
knives; talk about the history of Scherenschnitte; share
techniques, ideals, and patterns; and practice and complete an
ornament. Bring
x-acto knife with #11 blade; a pair of tiny, sharp, pointy
scissors; and self-healing mat.
Instructor will have limited supplies on hand for a fee.
You will be able to borrow supplies if needed.
